Quick Demo : Presentations with AI using LangChain, ChatGPT & CopilotKit

I have a love/hate relationship with presentations.Love to tell a story on the topic. Hate to leave any facts behind or miss an opportunity to not have the facts crafted into the story.

.. and that’s what I had planned to solve with ChatGPT

A large amount of time goes into developing a story i.e. defining the slides and conduct the underlying research. Instead of going through pages and pages on Google search, I was expecting ChatGPT to do the research and come up with the slides with some content along with some speaker notes to talk about when presenting these slides.

I started with trying to find a way to integrate with Google Slides, to export as pptx and then continue on PowerPoint.. but failed miserably. Then I came across CopilotKit – an open source AI copilot platform that allows easy ways to integrate AI as a chat interface on React Apps. I made my peace with building a React app integrated with Copilot managed by CoPilotkit, talking to ChatGPT following the LangChain framework.

Liftoff : A Presentation about CDP

Taking baby steps, I prompted for a presentation about CDPs and the results were fast & fantastic..

Presentation with Nested Topics

Now lets start challenging the solution! Instead of generalising with an open ended topic, lets ask it to focus on a specific area. The results where quite interesting – slides needed a lot more work in terms of content , while the speaker notes seem to be well crafted. Also the results appear to be generated very quickly – not sure why

Can it create a presentation about solutions?

When presenting a solution design towards a business problem, I tend to spend a lot of time on getting into the details of the solution and ensuring that it meets the requirements. Can AI help creating the presentation or some of the presentation while I focus on the actual technical solution? The answer is in the video and it may surprise you !
